Meet the Pet
Peggy Olsen came to us through a friend who'd been out walking her dog when they spotted Peggy doing her best to hide in the park grass. We went back with a trap and a carrier and found poor Miss Peggy in the same spot. I do not recommend this, but I came from the side and scruffed her and put her in the carrier. Peggy was dumped by her owner, her family, her home that she likely never left.
Quick teaching moment: Cats do NOT fair well outside. And more notably, indoor cats that are dumped by their family do NOT survive without rescue intervention.
Peggy Olsen has overcome her fear of living in her new space and is ready for a home of her own. She is cat and dog tolerant and perhaps even friendly with proper introductions.
She is very unserious and loving. Her personality is shining through these photos!
