Luke was found wandering the streets of Houston TX with a belt attached to his collar to make a leash. He was out in the Artic Blast that hit TX in January 2024. A couple and their daughter saw him. As they passed by the little girl started to cry and said they just couldn't leave him out there. The dad turned around and promised if the dog was still there, they would pick him up. This is when Luke’s life took a turn for the better! Luke soon after jumped on the SSR train and left the big state of TX. He is now being fostered in VA waiting for his forever family to find him.
Luke is such a sweetheart. He loves people and affection from his people (and kids!). He has also done well with dogs. No exposure to cats as of now.
Luke has some puppy mannerisms (counter-surfing and jumping) and will require structure, boundaries, and exercise. He is a quick learner and is already getting better with jumping up. He is also an all star on the leash for walks already!
Please adopt Luke and help his happily ever after dream come true.
