My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winter’s a 2yo 19lb Terrier mix. She’s dog with slow introductions and older kid friendly. She’s housebroken if kept on a schedule and crate trained. She’d be good in a secure fenced yard along with going for harness leashed walks with some training. She’s very energetic, likes toys but needs ones for a chewer since pulls stuffed toys apart easily. She warms up to women much quicker than men. She’ll need time to warm up to new people when they come into her space.

Winter MUST have an active family who will help her get her energy out either by walks or playing with her in their secure fenced yard along with people who are on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.
