Hello to all of my new friends!! My name is Nixon and I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter just in the nick of time. Enough about the sad stuff - let's talk about what's happening since I got to MVPC. I LOVE it here!! There are nice humans here who love to play with me - YEAH!! I am learning NOT to jump for joy but.... I'm just so happy! I am house broke and crate trained. I am learning all kinds of manners. I'm learning to walk on a leash. I'm a strong boy who does pull but I'm learning!
Also, there are dogs HERE but not like at the shelter - we get to hang out! Some of them play and some of them sleep. I like them all. I have even met a cat too. He was weird but that's okay. I just love everyone!
If big dogs are your jam and you're looking for the bestest boy EVER - I'm your guy!!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
