My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tang came to ARC because his guardian could no longer care for him. Leaving his home was not easy for Tang at first, but being the good-natured cat he is, he adjusted quickly. He now spends a lot of his time perched on a cat condo near the entrance of his house. There he can welcome staff, volunteers, and visitors and get a little petting and attention from all!

Tang also gets along great with all the other cats in his house and certainly would not mind sharing his forever home with another kitty or two.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gently natured kitty? Then, see for yourself what a terrific addition Tang would make to your home. home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
