My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found this guy at Melrose and Queen in Winston Salem. He's a very friendly dog who allows me to handle his ears, face, and paws. He's pretty relaxed outside of bursts of puppy playtime energy, and actually quite quiet (he's only barked when I tried to put him in the crate during the day; accepted it at night).

I think this would be a great family dog; he had a great time chasing my co-worker's 4-year old (the 4 year old also chased him back). He seems to be relaxed around other dogs as well.


This dog should be pretty easy all around. He's maybe 17 lbs, and I imagine he might get to be about twice that when fully grown, so not totally huge but not a little ankle-biter either. Think he might be around 6-8 months old.

He's also responding to basic training and is willing to sleep at night in a crate (he'll complain for 5 minutes then settle down). Has a good handle on Sit, Come, Shake, and is getting there with Down.
