Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little man "Louie" is a young boy, our vet estimates him to be 4-6months old. He is friendly, fun-loving, playful, curious and sweet. He gets along well with all the other dogs at our rescue (of all shapes and sizes), and loves to play games of tag and chase. He was a dumped puppy, turned out on the streets of Houston to fend for himself. Found wandering from house to house begging for food, we were contacted to take him in and find him a new family. He has been enjoying regular meals on a daily basis now. He has adapted well to our daily house routines and is now house trained, he readily goes to the bathroom outside after meals. Louie has been microchipped and has his first round of vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Bordetella & Deworming). He was neutered March 13 & is now available for adoption. His adoption fee covers all of these basic costs, as well as transport to his new home. We can transport him anywhere in the United States on Southwest Airlines. If you live near a city that Southwest flies to, we can get Louie to you. **Please note: Louie is currently located at our rescue in Houston, Texas** but listed for adoption in several U.S. locations. He is still a puppy and will do well in a home that is looking for a dog who will grow up with a new "forever family", he has many fun years ahead of him! He is easily trainable, observant, and a quick learner. He enjoys playing with other dogs and it is great exercise for him, preference will be given to a family with other dogs for Louie to socialize with. His best friend at the rescue is another young chi/terrier mix who matches his energy, they keep each other entertained and occupied. We are guessing he is a chihuahua mixed with dachsund, terrier...or some other sort of small breed dog. Do you have the space in your home for this sweet, young, gentle boy to grow up in?
