Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hudson!
Hudson is a 5-month old lab mix who was rescued by animal control when he was a tiny baby! He is neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
Hudson is the sweetest little guy you could ask for. He is friendly with people, dogs, and cats. He is a total goofball and a pro at knowing how to capture your heart!
He is crate-trained, knows the word "no," and he is excellent on leash. Hudson is diligently working on potty-training.
According to his foster family, Hudson has been a complete ANGEL! He hasn’t had a single accident in the house and is getting comfortable in his kennel! He has been doing wonderful with on and off leash training while on daily walks. He thinks 30 minutes of exercise is plenty, and he lets the family know when he’s ready for a nap.
Hudson LOVES treats and meal times, and when he's not eating, he's happiest playing with his foster siblings and giving kisses to his people. He plays well with his foster siblings and the kiddos in the neighborhood! When a break is needed from playtime, you can find Hudson sprawled out on the couch or dog bed (whichever is closest to his person). Hudson is the perfect cuddle buddy and just wants to be with his human.
Hudson is very easily redirected, when needed.
Hudson is looking for a family that will love him as much as he will undoubtedly love them. A family who wants to watch this little angel grow up and shower their lives with the greatest gift of all: love!
PLEASE NOTE:
We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, up-to-date and consistent core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, and regular monthly heartworm prevention.
You MUST contact your vet to give them permission to speak to us for the vet check BEFORE we call them. We will not be able to call veterinarians multiple times and we would hate for an application to be turned down because no authorization is on file with the vet.
Application can be found at www.puppypawsrescue.org
If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. You will then be asked to schedule an interview and virtual home visit. Please check your SPAM folder for emails from PuppyPawsRescue. Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview, may not hear back from us within that time frame.
Our team is an all-volunteer team, managing families, our paying jobs, households, foster dogs, application processing, interviews and home visits, follow-up, transports, and much more. We ask that you be courteous and patient with us.
