Opal is a 12 year old deaf Persian cat who is very friendly. She is a lap cat who loves to be held and loved on. She needs to be the only cat in the home. When we got her, her previous owners did not take care of her teeth so most of them had to be removed. She is on a diet of Friskies Pate, fish-flavored wet food, twice a day--it is the only kind she likes.

Opal is a really small cat; she is just about 5/6 lbs. She is unable to completely groom herself so we get her groomed and bathed every 6-8 weeks. We have had her almost 7 years and our other cat and she do not get along. She is very very easy to groom and bathe.

We really want to find a good home for Opal. She was just at the vet for annual labs and got a clean bill of health for kidney and liver and diabetes and is in excellent health.
