Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Requirements:
Playful dog/Kids
Fonzie is a shy guy that likely didn't have a lot of positive socialization at the puppy mill he came from.
He is most playful when he is with one of the confident playful pups in the foster home. He would do well with a confident dog in his new home. A dog that will play with him and show him the ropes. Second best would be kids, because kids sometimes have a way of bringing dogs out of their shells and passing no judgement onto a dog.
Fonzie likes to take things in and is watchful of the other dogs in the home. His new family will need to work on socializing and building confidence. Fonzie enjoys belly rubs and yummy treats!
Fonzie's adoption is $500. He is too young for a neuter (we neuter at 6 months) and a neuter contract is required. We will cover the expense if using our vet in Troy, Mo. Fonzie is microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines and ready for a home!
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
