Scarlett is smart, lively, and close to people; full of puppy energy, but calm and obedient if compared to other young pups her age. She always greets everyone with a sweet smile and non-stop wagging tail. She is good with dogs and behaves very well when meeting other dogs outdoors; she is also calm and friendly with cats.
Her favorite pastime is taking daily walks and romping around with doggie friends in the park. She is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight, with no barking nor chewing issues. Scarlett can fit into any type of family quickly, also can be a great candidate for family looking for sibling to the existing dog. She would make a wonderful companion, and she certainly deserves a loving family!
About Scarlett’s rescue:
Traveling on a country road the volunteer picked up a stray dog, skinny but heavy into pregnancy. She soon gave birth to five puppies, Scarlett was one of them. Being cute and good looking, Scarlett was soon adopted by a young couple. Even with all their good intention and love, the young couple realized not long afterwards that they did not have enough time to take good care of her; she was only taken for walk once every week on weekends, and when her masters are away on business trips, Scarlett had to stay at the boarding place.
So, when the rescuer learned about this situation, she decided to look for better opportunities for Scarlett.
