Roscoe is a handsome tripod who has been in and out of the shelter system since 2018. He was last in the shelter in 2021, but sadly returned in 2024 when his owner passed away. In previous homes Roscoe lived with kids and loved playing with stuffed toys.
Roscoe found himself at risk and his life was saved by an amazing foster. He spent several months in his foster home- here’s what we learned:
- He loves walks and is great on leash - He has Valley Fever (which doesn’t slow him down one bit) and is great about taking his medicine - He is well- behaved when left home alone - He loves cuddles - He loves whipped cream, chicken, marshmallows, apples, bananas, peanut butter, green beans and broccoli- a balanced diet is important! - He loves plush toys and playing tug o’ war - He sleeps well through the night
This handsome, sweet boy deserves to finally find his fur-ever home! He’ll do well in a low traffic home, and with a safe space, such as a crate, where he can hang out when strangers stop by. He is looking for a home without small dogs, and a meet and greet with any resident dogs is always a great idea. Please ask to meet Roscoe today!!
