My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Daphne, a stunning and resilient grey medium-haired feline, who, after selflessly raising and finding homes for her adorable litter, is now on a quest to discover the joys of a loving forever home herself! Born on October 13, 2023, Daphne is an adult cat, spayed and ready to embark on a new chapter of her life.

Daphne's journey brought her to us pregnant, and she lovingly cared for her kittens until they all found their forever families. Now, it's Daphne's turn to experience the warmth and comfort of a home where she can be the center of attention.

This resilient mom cat is ready to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, from quiet cuddles to playful moments. If you are looking for a feline companion with a heart full of love and a story of strength, Daphne might be the perfect match.

If you'd like to meet Daphne and offer her the loving home she deserves, don't hesitate to apply online at eastshoreha.org. Your decision to welcome Daphne into your life could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship and a lifetime of shared love and companionship.

Apply today, and let Daphne's journey lead her to the warmth and comfort of a forever home filled with love.

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
