My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Vader, AKA Dobby the Doggo with the best ears in town! Are you ready to welcome a goofball into your life who's part agility champ, part cuddlebug extraordinaire? Look no further than Vader! At just one year old and 48 pounds of pure love, this pup is on a mission to win over your heart and your squeaky toys. Vader's feelings towards cats remain a mystery (though he's known to give them a playful chase), but he needs to be the only dog in the home. Older, considerate kids are his jam, as he's still mastering the art of keeping his playfulness in check (watch out for those playful nips!). But fear not, Vader's not just a fluffy goofball—he's also a scholar! He's aced commands like sit, stay, leave it, and even mastered the fine art of not pulling on walks (a true rarity in the doggy world). And let's not forget his agility skills—he's like a furry ninja on the obstacle course! When he's not showing off his brainpower, Vader's all about the simple pleasures in life: squeaky toys, playdates with pals (both human and furry), and goofing around like there's no tomorrow. His favorite pastime? Prancing around the house like a mini horse, toys in tow, spreading joy wherever he goes. With his huge, adorable ears and his love for car rides, he's always ready for the next adventure. But don't let his playful antics fool you—Vader's also a pro at relaxation. He'll happily curl up next to you for a cozy nap or snuggle session, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. So, if you're ready to add a dash of fun, a sprinkle of silliness, and a whole lot of love to your life, come meet Vader! He's waiting to wiggle his way into your heart and home, one squeaky toy at a time. Adopt Vader today and get ready for a lifetime of laughs, cuddles, and endless adventures!November 1, 2024, 4:09 pm

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
