Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Big Bubba, appoximately 2 years old, was trapped on a local farm. He was attacking other cats on the farm and was vicious. Imagine our surprise when we discoved Big Bubba is sweet. Loves to be petted and having treats at bedtime. Food is the way to his heart. Bubba is 13 pounds of muscle.
Big Bubba uses the litter box like a pro and is doing fine with his kitty roommates. He does need a dog free home. We would love it if he could be an only pet, but with the correct acclimation/introduction Big Bubba would do great with another cat.
Big Bubba's purrfect home would be in a quiet adult only home where he could be given time to acclimate. Just think, you could be the one to teach Big Bubba is better than a weighted blanket. He will keep you warm on these cold Spring nights.
Big Bubba - Handsome Grey Tuxedo who would do best as an only cat.

Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
