My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Logan is a big, lovable Akita-mix, and ALL boy. One minute he’s a studly protector, the next he’s a big galoot--bouncing all over and bobbing his head in play. (Plus, he believes he’s one heck of a chick-magnet.)

Logan is looking for a human buddy of his own. He says he wants an athletic man, someone he can run and play with every day. Logan wants to unleash his inner dog--no more staying home with the girls. No, he wants to thump his chest and run a marathon and possibly ride in a pickup (although that last part is negotiable).

Logan was rescued off the country highway. The family who rescued him love him tons, but due to health and job restrictions they cannot spend more than a few minutes a day playing with him. Plus, since they are animal rescuers, they deal with other animals with difficult behavior issues. Logan has been subjected to a lot of stress that he doesn't deserve.

Logan is a 5 yr-old, neutered, Akita-mix, approximately 75 lbs. He needs a Forever Dad who is athletic and wants to spend buddy-time with him every day. (Logan loves women, too! And is very affectionate.) He would do best with no kids or other pets.

Logan says he is also willing to lay on the sofa and watch football on Sunday.
