My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lonnie is the sweetest, slinky grey boy. He's been through some trauma and needs time and patience, but when he comes out of his shell, he is a truly lovely cat. Lonnie loves to chase yarn, snoop in shopping bags, and curl up at the top of the cat tower. When he walks past one of his people, he gently wraps his long silver tail around you to let you know, "I'm here! You can pet me if you like!" He has managed very well in a busy foster household, but would do equally well in a quieter home with someone who can provide the gentle companionship that he loves. Lonnie never jumps on counters, scratches the furniture, or wakes you up at 5 am- that would be conduct unbecoming such a well-mannered cat!

Lonnie loves other cats and would do great with a feline friend. He can also live with kids.

Lonnie is around a year old and he is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is affectionate, gentle, and quiet.

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
