Nixon is a cute little guy that will steal your heart!

Nixon is happy and very playful! He enjoys playing with the foster dogs in the home and running around in the yard. He is very treat motivated and we believe he will be easy to train.

Nixon also has a sweet and calm side and will climb in your lap for snuggles and take himself to bed when tired.

Nixon would like a playmate in his home, either a playful dog or kids. Nixon is a mix breed dog of a Cavalier King Charles and a Bichon Frise. We do not know how much he will shed. He will need routine brushing and professional grooming.

Nixon's adoption fee is $500. Due to his young age he has not been neutered (we neuter at 6 months) and a neuter contract will be enforced. We will pay for the neuter if using our vet in Troy, MO. He is current on vaccines, microchipped and ready for love! Visit leiashope.org for an application.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.

All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.

We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.

Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
