My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simply put: Sawyer is a prince. We rescued Sawyer from the Delaware County SPCA in 2013 at 6 months of age (to the best of our knowledge since he was a rescue). Sawyer has been our best friend throughout the 11 years of owning him. From hikes and walks throughout the Brandywine valley to beach weeks, Sawyer has been by our side. As our lives evolve and two young toddlers have taken priority, we believe Sawyer deserves better. We cannot commit the time and dedication to our loving soy boy. The ideal home for Sawyer is us, but 11 years ago, when we were to young adults and could commit 100% of our time to him. Unfortunately for him, times have changed and it's just not fair. Sawyer isn't ideal in a home with young kids like mine. While he is not a viscous dog, he is anxious around young kids. Sawyer is like a solitary animal - he enjoys being by himself and being left alone. The ideal home for soy is a young married couple without kids or an older couple with older kids or kids moved out
