In March, Pilot and his brother Stark were dumped puppies found on a highway in Missouri. Stark has been adopted. Pilot is now 10 months old and still waiting for his family.
It is a mystery to us why Pilot has not found his furever home yet! He's such a good mixture of playful and snuggles. Pilot's foster mom describes him as happy, playful, and silly. He's a curious boy and still a puppy at heart- household items left on the floor or counter are fair game. Chew toys are a must for Pilot! He also needs another playful dog in the house to be his companion. Pilot loves to play with his dog friends and loves everyone he meets adults and kids alike. He was around cats when he was younger and did great with them. Pilot is treat motivated and learning how to sit and wait for food and treats. He will be your snuggle companion when sitting on the floor or on the couch. And be will alert you to what he sees and hears outside with his BIG barks.
Being fostered in Pleasant Hill, MO
Pilot weighs 70-80 lbs, is up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. He will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show vet records at that time.
Adoption Requirements:
*A secure, visible fence
*A home visit
*A vet check with at least a two year vet history
Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We are able to help transport to those states.
