Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Andy is a laid back 12 week old bulldog/terrier mix that weighs 14 lbs. He is estimated to be around 45-50 lbs when he is full grown. He is very affectionate and loving and loves to be wherever his human is. He is a big cuddle bug that truly loves nothing more than snuggling up with his human and giving them sweet puppy kisses. He is also a social butterfly that loves everyone he meets. When he meets a new dog for the first time waits for an invitation to be new friends. He is super easy going and is perfectly happy just hanging out on the couch with his human relaxing, or if his human is up for more fun adventures outdoors, he is always happy to join. His ideal family is a good mix of active and laid back.
Andy was born in the shelter and survived his first 6 weeks with him mom in a kennel. His mom was picked up already pregnant and gave birth to 8 pups. She is a kind gentle girl and a great Momma. Also listed for adoption is his sister Addie and brothers Aries and Angus.
Andy medium energy, so he will require a few exercise sessions and play time per day as he grows. He can be both a couch potato and a fun, adventurous pup depending on what his human wants to do. If you feel like having a lazy day watching movies on the couch, Andy is happy to hang out, get belly rubs, and nap by your side. If you feel like going on an outdoor adventure hiking or exploring nature, he is also happy to do that as well. He really just loves being in the company of his human, no matter what they want to do. He is really skilled at self-entertaining, so just give him a toy box full of fun dog toys and chew toys, and he will keep himself busy.
Andy is dog, and kid friendly. He does well with dogs of all ages and sizes and is currently in a foster home with dogs ranging in age from puppy to senior, and from large to x-small in size. He knows how to adapt his play style to different dogs.
He will need help perfecting his leash training once he is in his forever home but is getting comfortable with having a leash on in his foster home. His ideal home environment would be a house with a fenced backyard that he can sunbathe and play in. He would do well in an apartment, townhouse or condo as long as he has a human home the majority of the day that can take him out for a few walks per day to enjoy the sunshine and also perfect his potty-training skills.
