Hello!
My name is Alfie! I am a 9–10 month old mix breed puppy and I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I am all about fun and love meeting new people! I was recently rescued from a local shelter and am now thriving in a wonderful foster home where I’m learning to be my best puppy self.

I’m playful and energetic, especially with other dogs that match my play style! I love playing one-on-one or in group settings. I would do best in a new home that already has a well-established, friendly dog to show me the ropes. A fenced yard for running and playing would also be perfect for me! I’ve never met a cat, but I’ll probably give chase if they run.

Things I love:

• Car rides (they take me to all the fun places!) • Playing in the river • Exploring the woods • Visiting breweries (I’m very well-behaved!) and Snuggles!!

I’m housebroken, crate trained, and learning new house manners daily! I already know some cool tricks like sit, paw, turn around, lay down, and wait! I still have a bit of puppy mouthiness (as puppies do), so older, respectful children (9+) would be ideal companions for me.

Since I’m still a puppy, I need a patient, loving family who will dedicate time to my training and exercise needs. With positive reinforcement and consistency, I will grow up to be the best dog I can be! Puppy training also helps us bond, so it’s a win-win for both of us!
