My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Jalen and boy oh boy I am so glad to be back at the shelter! I feel like I have been in a revolving door with owners and with the shelter too! I was found as a stray by a kind stranger! He brought me here and things were just great! I got all fixed up and ready to meet new people! Then miracle of miracles! I was adopted! Problem was she only kept me for a few weeks and then gave me away! I wish she had just brought me back to my friends at the shelter! To cut to the "chase" I escaped the new person's yard and was picked up by my friends in Animal Control! So I am trying again to find my "forever" home! I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am what they call a "teenage" puppy so be ready for some fun times and activity!!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
