My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cameo! Cameo might seem like an independent kitty at first, but don't let her fool you! She becomes the biggest cuddler and enjoys taking naps together, even stealing your spot on the bed. Since Cameo is 5 years old, that means she is also a professional biscuit maker! When she's not relaxing or making biscuits, Cameo enjoys playing with a pipe cleaner or eating crunchy treats. She also enjoys getting brushed and scratched behind her ears. Cameo is the perfect mix of a calm snuggly cat and a cat that enjoys having fun! Does she sound like your purrfect match?

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
