My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coriander is another one of our Azalea Park bunnies. He and a large number of other domestic bunnies were roaming loose in an Orlando neighborhood and were rounded up and brought to safety. When Coriander first came into our care, he was tiny! He weighed barely a pound. Now he is a healthy, strapping, just-about-grown-up bun who is all ready to find his forever home.

Coriander has golden brown fur with white markings, and watchful brown eyes. He is quite the handsome lad, even if he does say so himself. His very favorite toys are cardboard houses, wooden hidey-houses, and any kind of bunny-safe chew toy. He also has great enthusiasm for exploring, and for performing binkies (bunny dance steps). He is a little shy at first with new people, but if you let him warm up to you he will soon be demanding pets. Coriander is a great eater and really loves his Timothy hay. This handsome and spirited boy is looking for a loving family to call his own.

We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step to our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don’t see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder!

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.

Additional adoption info

For those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match.

Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based rescue where our available animals are kept in private homes.

You can see our rabbits online, then make an appointment to meet the rabbit(s) you select.

From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue and educational group dedicated to the health, care and enjoyment of house rabbits. We believe that pet rabbits are family members and should be housed indoors, should be fed a healthy diet, should be spayed or neutered, and should receive quality medical care. Our organization strives to provide bunny parents with information to help them care for their rabbit.
