Meet Candy! This little mixed breed, sweetie is about 40 pounds, and will be a year old on July 7th, 2024. We pulled her from our county kennel to make room for other dogs in need. She is very good with other dogs, polite, and quiet. She is not a huge fan of the crate, and likes to be with you when you are home. She will bark a bit when left alone, but will settle. She knows some basic commands, is gentle taking treats, and also good with children and cats!

She loves chewing on bones and playing with toys, running in a fenced yard and play wrestling with other canine companions. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, and microchipped. We are a rescue/ rhoming service that provides education and assistance for owners in our community to keep pets in their home. When that is not an option or we come across animals in need, we will take them into our foster-based program, work with them, seek all necessary vetting, and find them the perfect home.
