This generous gift was made to PPAH by a true cat advocate and PPAH supporter in honor of the 1 year anniversary of the passing of her beloved cat, Noah. Applications for this gorgeous pair will be processed in the same manner as all PPAH cats, but the fee will be waived. Moonshadow (“Moonie”) and Frito (estimated date of birth 3/11/2021) are bonded gray cats with gorgeous eyes. They are best buds who enjoy lounging in the sun and “bird watching” from the window. You will love having these two greet you at the door once they acclimate to their new home. They both love sleeping in bed with their foster mom and being told how beautiful they are!
Moonie is very vocal, and you will not need an alarm clock because he will make sure you are up in the mornings to feed him breakfast. He is very food-motivated and loves getting his treats out of his activity board. He is a big boy, and his foster mom is currently trying to get his weight down by increasing activity and monitoring food intake. It's important that they are monitored while eating or (or eat in separate rooms) as Moonie will steal Frito's food if given the opportunity.
While Moonie and Frito’s dream home would not include other pets, we think they would adapt to one or two friendly resident cats. They would do well with older children who can be patient, calm, and predictable. They have not had experience with dogs.

Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.

Interview
Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.

Home Check
We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.
4.
Approve Application
Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
