My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odin is a super sweet and bubbly girl who will follow you around for your attention for as long as you let her! She likes to be on high places and typically will be on one of the top shelves. Odin does have kind of a lazy eye and can look like she's winking at you sometimes but it is just a unique thing about her! She's a very vocal kitty for attention and treats but she just wants someone to spend all her time with. She is good with other cats but truly prefers to be your one and only! If there are any resident pets in the home, her owner will need to understand to take the introduction process VERY slowly as she can have a rough time navigating her trust with other cats. She loves to play and while she is nervous at first, she loves to interact with just about anyone with a very slow introduction!

If you are interested in meeting Odin, please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.org

At Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
