Meet Keegan!

Keegan is a short-haired tabby. He is about 1 year old and will be 2 years old in May. He is a quiet, reserved kind of guy. He’s affectionate and loves to be petted. He could become a lap cat once he bonds to a person. He will take time to adjust to new people and new settings. He is cautious in a new environment. He is extremely cat-friendly and likely would do best with another cat in the home to help him settle in. He is still adjusting to new people and not always comfortable with strangers. He will need a patient, quiet home. We recommend against kids who are chaotic or loud. He hides when there is a lot of noise. We aren’t sure about dogs. He hides when a dog is brought into the room so it’s hard to say how he would adjust. However, he likely would do okay with a relaxed dog who gives him his space. He’s come such a long way and will be the best companion if you give him a chance. Please don’t consider adopting him unless you are extremely patient and don’t mind waiting several weeks to months for a kitty to warm up to you. We know his perfect home is out there and if you think you’re a good fit please reach out to us.
