Roxie is a stunning, highly intelligent Irish Setter.
This girl could spend hours waiting patiently for a glimpse of a squirrel in a tree in her yard or napping nearby, waiting for a long walk by your side. She is friendly with dogs and people and enjoys socializing at the dog park or with her foster friends, but she is also content to be the only dog around.
She has refined most of those juvenile antics and is pretty well-behaved. She is excellent in her crate or around the home; however, she needs very firm boundaries and precautions around entry and exit points to ensure she doesn't venture out on her own!
Irish Setters are known for their endurance and ability to chase moving objects at high rates of speed, as such they require well maintained fencing such as 6ft board/on/board or similar if they have yard access. We are happy to discuss their specific needs with approved adopters.
