Meet Belle!
She's a 9 month old purebred Black German Shepherd. Her daddy is an AKC registered working line BGSD and approximately 80 pounds. Mom is also a BGSD and approximately 70 pounds. Belle is crate trained potty trained obedience trained/leash trained.

She is a high drive girl, and considers anything flying through the air her property. She fetches balls, frisbees, and any other toys you might throw her way. She takes flying bug patrol very seriously. Belle is affectionate, loyal, and an excellent protector. She's great in the car, and likes to go for rides. She's good with other pups after proper introductions. Belle would be the perfect adventure dog for hiking, camping or exploring. She can keep up with you easily, and also keep you safe. If you're looking for an extremely intelligent high drive but well balanced puppy, this is the girl for you. She learns fast, and you can teach her absolutely anything.

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
