Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our sweet girl Maya is ready to find a family to call her own.
So who has some large breed dog experience that wants one amazing 100 pound pup come live with them 🙂 Maya is 1.5 years old and still a lot of puppy and at 100 pounds and still growing a bit - she is a lot of dog
She came to us after a senior bought her from the breeder and soon realized she was way too much dog for her so she basically just put her outside - so she needed a lot of work on socialization when she came to us but has done great. She is NOT a fan of cats at all and no small dogs as she plays pretty rough as she honestly does not realize her size. In her foster home she has done better with male dogs her size and she will play for hours and hours. She loves her toys for sure but the tougher they are the better or you are going to have a lot of toy stuffing around your house. She is fostered in a home with small kids and she loves them but we would always remind people she is a large dog and still a pup so she gets excited and could knock a small child down - not on purpose at all but in general she adores kids but we do recommend a home without smaller children. She bonds quickly with her people and loves to be your shadow - she loves nothing more for you to lay on the floor with her and give her a good belly rub
She is going to be an amazing addition to some very lucky family
She is spayed and has had her stomach tacked (to help prevent bloat) she is current on vaccines, she has had a full bloodwork panel done - she is microchipped, dewormed and current on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Her adoption fee is $250.00 - if you are interested in adopting Maya - please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. We do NOT set up any meet and greets until the adoption application has been received and reviewed.
Also a reminder that we do NOT have a facility - all of our dogs are fostered in private foster homes in Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.
Lets share this girl and find her the perfect home - oh what a blessing she is going to be to some very lucky family
