Meet Alyssa, a delightful little bundle of joy! This one-year-old, 8-pound sweetheart may start off a bit shy, but once she warms up, she’s full of love and playful energy. She enjoys the company of other small dogs and is curious about cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet household.
Alyssa has a unique charm that makes her even more special. Due to a past “tail pull” injury, she doesn’t have feeling in her tail and is fecal incontinent. But no worries—she’s getting the hang of rocking her cute little diapers during the day and sleeps happily in an x-pen at night, diaper-free. One of her back legs knuckles under, but it doesn’t slow her down at all—she’s as lively and spirited as ever!

Alyssa is looking for a loving home that embraces her quirks and is ready to manage her potty needs with a smile. In return, she promises to fill your life with endless love, joy, and adorable antics. This little star is ready to shine in her forever home!

We require an application and a home visit prior to all of our adoptions. We do adopt out of state, and may have a representative from another rescue complete the home visit for us. Once the home visit is completed and approved, the dog is available for you to adopt! While this sounds like a lengthy process, it actually is often completed in a day or two. We have an adoption contract that is filled out at the time of adoption, along with adoption fee's collected at that time.

Under 1yr: $250
1yr to 9yrs: $200
10yrs and up: $150

We are a nonprofit, 501(C)(3), all volunteer, limited admission small dog rescue organization funded by private donations and adoption fees. We are a group of individuals who are dedicated to rescuing small breed dogs who have been abandoned, abused, neglected or left behind by their former owners. Our belief is that companion animals are living beings who are not merely "pets" but family members. We strive to find homes for them who share this view. We are committed to providing them with a temporary home where they receive veterinary care, including spay or neuter, socialization, exercise, love and good nutrition until their forever home can be found. We do not discriminate against small dogs based on breed or physical disability.

Mini Mighty Mutts is a limited admissions rescue. We can only take in as many animals as our foster homes can safely and responsibly care for. We do not euthanize animals to make room for more. We simply stop taking in new animals until we have room. Each homeless dog will remain in our care until he or she finds a new home.
