My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rollie is a gentle, sensitive fella who is adjusting to the shelter routine, but he’s really hoping not to spend too much time behind bars! He’d love to find a loving family who will help him build confidence and show him all about life in a real home. Here’s what one volunteer said:

“Rollie was super easy to leash and exited his kennel calmly. He’s a little shy and unsure of shelter life, but as we walked further away from the shelter he seemed to relax. He is such a handsome fella who had a calm demeanor and a gentle walk. He was nonreactive to other dogs we encountered and was happy to take a long walk around the lake with me. This guy is a gem and just needs to be given some time to shine. Someone needs Rollie in their life!”

During a short stay in a foster home Rollie did great with another dog and was described as reserved but curious. He seemed to be housebroken and slept through the night. Rollie will need time and patience as he settles into a new environment, and will benefit from crate training.

“Rollie walks wonderfully on leash and was not reactive to other dogs even when they were reactive towards him. Seems like a great dog who would do great with crate training and a bit of confidence building.”

Rollie shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Rollie today!!
