My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bama was a "giveaway" pup from a Walmart parking lot. When people hand out puppies like lollipops, they often end up in bad situations. It's an impulsive thing to take a cute little puppy but as soon as they realize how much work they are, they are disposed of in many different ways. Bama got lucky, she came to us through a friend of the rescue. The people who took her from the parking lot soon realized that she was more than they could handle. They wanted a cute little puppy but not prepared to deal with normal puppy behavior. Anyway, Bama is a little extra special. You see, we took her to the spay/neuter clinic only to find out when we returned to pick her up, that she is a Hermaphrodite. Once they opened her up, they found a testicle and just one ovary. The surgery went fine, she is fully recovered and will have no health ramifications from it. She is as sweet and playful as she can be. We are guessing she is a Boxer mix with maybe a little hound and few other things mixed in! She is crate trained and almost house broken. She uses the pee pads all the time when she is in the house. She's great with kids and as you can see by the video, vey playful with cats. She will be ready for transport beginning of April
