My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is Charlie and I am a young beagle boy that needs to find a new home. I am approx. 6 months old and weigh ~15 lbs. I was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky and made my way to Penny Angels with 5 other beagles on Feb. 24. I am a little shy when I first meet people and would do best in a calmer household without young kids. I get along fine with other dogs and like to play, so a doggie friend in the house would be fun for me. I am a love-bug and will snuggle-up with you and fall asleep in your arms. I am a talker, so a condo or townhouse would not be a good fit for me. I would benefit from basic training. I am neutered and up-to-date with my vaccinations. I am using a doggie door in Rescue during the day but will have to learn new rules in your home. Hopefully I will meet my new family on Saturday at PetSmart.


If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. His adoption fee is $400, cash or check. If your application is approved, you will be contacted by email or phone and then will complete the adoption process at PetSmart in Mays Landing, NJ on Saturday between 11-2 pm.
