It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
SERGEANT STEVENS and his 3 brothers (SERGEANT JEFFREY " JACK " MUMFORD, SERGEANT BECKER and DETECTIVE JOHN BURROWS) were found by the side of a freeway. Our trapper friend could not find a rescue. They had to live in a kitty tent in someone's backyard. When she told us, we frantically got them here. SERGEANT STEVENS is with our rescue now and is ready to be adopted.
Meet SERGEANT STEVENS, a sleek and handsome 1 year old Domestic Shorthair Tabby mix from Torrance, California whose tiger-striped coat hints at his quiet bravery and playful spirit. Despite his shy and cautious demeanor, this young fellow has a heart full of love just waiting to be shared with the right family. Found by the side of a freeway and spending much of his early life in a kitty tent, SERGEANT STEVENS is ready to march into a loving home where he can finally feel safe and secure.
This little Sergeant might be a bit skittish at first, but don’t be fooled—he’s just taking his time to assess the situation like any good officer would. Once he’s comfortable, his playful side emerges, and he’ll eagerly engage with toys or enjoy a good romp with other feline friends. He’s a social cat who thrives in the company of others, especially if they happen to be fellow cats. With them, he’s quick to form bonds, whether it’s through playtime or a cozy nap session.
One of SERGEANT STEVENS biggest loves? Treats! His affection for tasty snacks makes him easy to win over. Just shake a bag of his favorite treats, and you’ll see those shy eyes light up in anticipation. While he's never been around young children and seems indifferent to dogs, his gentle and non-reactive nature suggests he could adapt with the right introductions and some patience. He might start off as a cautious little sergeant, but with time, trust, and plenty of treats, he’ll soon be reporting for cuddle duty.
SERGEANT STEVENS is seeking a calm, loving home where he can finally experience the joys of being part of a family. Are you the kind-hearted caregiver who can offer this sweet boy the stability and love he’s been searching for?
If you’re ready to share your home with this treat-loving tabby, apply on our website. Could you be the one to show SERGEANT STEVENS what it means to finally have a place to call home?
