My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clawdette and her brother Buddy were dumped. They were put out and ignored. They were cared for by the next door neighbor who fed them and cared for them outdoors. Clawdette is a beautiful tortoiseshell calico. She is calm and talkative and, really quite lovely. She is hoping for a safe place to rest her head and some loving family member she can trust to love and care for her.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Foster homes.

2.

Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

3.

Interview

We speak to the adopter by phone and again in person.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

Go meet their pets

Should you like to meet a particular cat or kitten, we have a localized meeting place where adopter and kitty can meet. Just call to schedule an appointment.

More about this rescue

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
