ICE CREAM hails from SANDY LAKE in Northern Ontario and came south with her 4 siblings (the Parlour Litter) to find her forever home. The breed mix we have her listed as and the size she’ll grow to be is just a guess as we really have no way of knowing. She’s had her first set of puppy vaccines, microchip and been deemed a healthy a girl by her vet. She is the dare devil in the litter, the adventurous one and the first to climb out of the X-pen. This litter is such a happy bunch of tail waggers and just loves people and being snuggled.
She is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it all night. She has access to it in the day and will take a nap in it. Her housetraining is still very much a work in progress as she doesn’t know enough to ask to go outside. She will go bathroom outside though if she’s taken out for it.
ICE CREAM is an energetic puppy who loves to play with her siblings. She also loves to play with all sorts of toys and enjoys chasing balls around. She’s just started to go on walks and gets excited when she knows she’s going outside. Like all puppies though she does pull on her leash so avoid a collar pulling on her neck, she wears a harness as well.
She would love to find a family that will take her on walks and hikes and basically enjoy being outside with her. She travels well in a vehicle so will always be ready and willing for any adventures they’ll send her way. She hasn’t met a cat but if the cat is dog savvy and with a monitored introduction they should get along just fine. Children should be aged 6 and up, caring and considerate and understand she’s just a puppy that at times will nibble on fingers and toes. She does require a fenced-in yard to keep her safe.
Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need her potential adopter to be in agreement to sign her up for obedience/puppy training in order to adopt her.
Her spay is included in her adoption fee and will be performed at the Barrie SPCA or at our Vets office by the time she’s 6 months of age. We also need you to be in agreement with this in order to adopt her.
If you would like to meet ICE CREAM then please submit the adoption application to do so.
