PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, he needs a better home or to be with other active cats to play with!!! His personality needs more than we can give. We adopted Smaug back in April 2023 with another black cat from a different foster home. They warmed up quickly and get along well. Unfortunately, our lifestyle doesn't seem to do well for him as he is a very engaged cat. He loves attention and will let you know when he wants to play or lay on the couch or bed with you, even when you are in a meeting or busy. After many months of trying to find things that may keep him engaged or busy until his humans are free, it seems that he just really needs human affection and attention more often than we can provide. Smaug loves to play, but also loves relax time in the evening when he can lay on the couch with you. He enjoys looking outdoors and playing with a variety of toys with his human. He comes with a single cat carrier, toys, and a walking harness. We will drive him to you (LA area).
