D'jour means "of the day" and this sweetheart is your dog of the day! D'jour pronounced dajoor) has been with us a long time. Her time has come to be the "Dog of the day!" One of our wonderful volunteers took her home for the weekend, and we found so much about her that you can't find out at a pound. First, we found out that she is one FANTASTIC pup. She is loving, and loves to sit by you and snuggle. . Within a day, she learned where the toy basket was, and chose one to carry around. She loves a good belly rub and knows how to roll over to get your attention. She knows when its time to go out, walks well on a leash, and even puts herself to bed at night. She is smart and eager to please. She has met several dogs and enjoys playing with ones that are about her size. She and Frida have been happy playmates.
She would do well with a fenced in yard to play games with you. She does have a prey drive, so would do best in a home without other little furry or feathered squeaky things. Most of all, she wants to have her own family and her own best friend. Could that be you?
