My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This affectionate young man cannot wait to find his forever home! Douglas is a sweet, playful, talkative boy who loves everybody he comes across. He has quickly become a fan favorite, and he has won over the hearts of our volunteers and staff very fast. Douglas loves pretty much everyone he meets, but he would do best in a home without small children. Douglas is working on his manners, and he does know most of his basic commands. But, he still does need some reminders that not everyone wants a hug. Douglas loves to be outside and play. His current favorite game is fetch. Douglas would do best with lots of room to play so he can get all his energy out. We are unsure if he has met a cat before, so we do recommend a slow introduction. Douglas seems to love other dogs, but we do suggest a meet and greet so we can make sure it’s the perfect fit! This cuddly big boy is very ready to meet his new forever family!

Every animal adopted from the Humane Society of Northwest Montana has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and administered age-appropriate vaccinations.
