Meet Batman, an adult dog with a zest for life. His energy is contagious, and he`s always ready for a game of fetch or a walk in the park. He has more hobbies than he can keep up with. He also likes agility, car rides, running, tugging, chase and wrestling. He doesn`t even mind being by himself. He is self-entertaining if you aren`t available. Despite his playful spirit, Batman also has a affectionate, cuddly side. He loves to curl up next to his favorite humans for a good nap. Batman is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, his smart and lovable personality shines through. He knows the sit, come, and no commands. He has a soft spot for shoes and is known to jump and dig with an excitable intensity. He`s cautious around other dogs, tends to be dominant with cats, and can be a bit rough with children. If you have a dog, you`ll need to bring it to meet him to be sure they are compatible. He`ll need your help to wrap up his house training and leash walking training. Batman weighs 27 pounds and is a loyal companion who is ready to bring joy and laughter into his forever home. He was only given up because his family moved somewhere where he wasn`t allowed to live. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021.
