Meet Jonas!
This outgoing young man is sure to light up anyone's day! He loves meeting new people as well as making doggy friends! He has been with dogs of all sizes and seems to enjoy everyone's company. He doesn't seem to realize that he isn't 10 lbs anymore but what large dog does?
Jonas can be initially wiggly and clumsy when he first sees his people but once you get him on leash and moving he is fairly well mannered. He does well on leash, knows how to 'Sit' and is starting to learn how to 'Wait'.
Come to the Ranch to see if Jonas is perfect for your family!
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.
Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.
We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
