Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Confident, adventurous and active! According to her former people, these are the words that best describe our Luna! She used to live as a house bunny (free roam like a cat) when people were home and she absolutely LOVED it!
Sadly, Luna ended up at the shelter because her former people were relocating, and they were unable to take her.
Luna's former people reported she loves being brushed, is pretty good for nail trims and enjoys activity, but they said she's not a huge fan of her living space being cleaned so it's best to usher her into another room during cleanings. That being said however, she is VERY good at keeping her room clean with impeccable litterbox habits!
We can say that these behaviors still stand true: Luna has had some discomfort with people cleaning her area here at the shelter. She has responded well to lots of patience or getting her out of the area in her carrier while we clean. She may also be feeling insecure because her space is far smaller than what she was once used to! She would be one HAPPY bunny to be able to free roam again!
Luna has never lived with children before, and because she's not a fan of her living space being cleaned, we think she would do best with adults (or teens would be fine too). Luna has also never lived with another rabbit before and has shown to not like them in the few times she has gone on "speed dates" so it would be best for Luna to remain a solitary bunny.
If you're interested in our lively, lovely Luna, call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions to schedule an appointment to meet her!
