Hi! I’m Missy! I am a fiercely loving and loyal girl who gets along great with kids as well as cats and other dogs as long as the other dogs are ok with me taking charge and being the leader. I do need slow intros when meeting new people and dogs, so I can learn that they just want to be my friend. Once I meet you, give me a few minutes and I’ll be your best friend.  I absolutely love my person and am always alert and ready to protect you. I may have three legs, but this in no way slows me down. I am ready to go anywhere and do anything with my person, anytime. I am house trained and crate trained and am learning to walk well on a leash. In my spare time, I do love chasing the squirrels and laying in the grass and really spending as much time in the sunshine as I can in my fenced in back yard. I enjoy a good belly rub and cuddles on the couch with my humans. I pretty much enjoy all the attention and affection I can get. I am extremely smart and will require a home that will continue working with me as I learn new skills and work on perfecting current ones. I would excel in a home where I can get daily mental and physical stimulation so my funny personality can shine through. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will be patient with me and offer me the stimulation I need to be my best self.
