Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax is a fun boy to have around. He is a typical lab. He is silly, playful, lovable and wants to please you. He has not met a person or dog he has not liked. Each day he is a different dog as he settles in and learns new things. He is being fostered with four other dogs. He loves them all. At first he was an obsessive over sniffer with his doggie pack. Now he is just an over sniffer. He was just neutered on 2/12. He takes corrections well from his pack. He loves his chew toys and walks. Jax is happy to join a neighbor and their dog for a walk. He mastered the dog door immediately. Jumped right into the kids pool to splash in the water. He loves the hose. I have no doubt he would be a swimmer. If his forever family has a pool, they will have to show him how to get out right away. Jax is a water boy. Jax has learned "sit" and "wait" for me to place his food bowl down. His release command is "okay" and I point to his bowl. I recently added the command "focus" to his feeding routine. Jax is learning boundaries every day. Jax can be mouthy when meeting new people. He is excited and is not sure how to express himself. We have been working with him on this behavior and he has come a long away. Due to his size and ability to get excited, no small kids is best in his forever home. Not due to any aggressive behaviors. Just because he thinks he is a 30 lbs puppy who wants to play. It is fun to watch him learn new things. Some family is going to have fun continuing his training and socialization.
