Ladybug LOVES people, she has never met a stranger and identifies as a Lap dog. She is bouncy and energetic, but loves to snuggle and loves attention. She is pretty strong and is working on her leash manners, she rides very well in the car and is house and crate trained. She is smart and loves treats, especially Peanut Butter. She is learning how to run next to a bike for exercise - and while she loves to run short distances, she is "built for feed, not for speed". She is very friendly with all people she meets, is pretty exuberant when her family comes home, a.k.a. jumpy and is slowly learning to control that impulse. She is overall pretty quiet and only barks briefly at valid causes, like doorbell ringing.
Ladybug is a little reactive when she first meets new dogs, mostly do to her excitement of meeting new dogs, and she bounces their energy back - if they are rude, so is she. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, one she wants to play with (he doesn't) and the other she stays clear of (grumpy dog). She is interested in the cats, chases if they run, sniffs and walks away if they don't run.
At this time she is looking for a home with a rather strong handler as she is a bit of a "house hippo" and pulls rather strong on the leash when walking.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet, as not all dogs come to all Meet and Greets***
