Legends aren’t born everyday. While it is true that all rescues are unique in their own wonderful ways, Legend’s story was a first for this rescuer. Found on the streets, this youngster had a microchip. Not at all unusual, you say? Well, you’re right, but there was an unexpected twist. When contacted, the person to whom he was microchipped denied he was her dog. What to do? Abandon him at a shelter? Not even an option, so we enrolled in the shelter at home program. For the next 30 days, sweet Legend stayed with a wonderful foster. Finally, we get to introduce him to the family who will claim him for their very own. This almost-two-year-old loves cuddling and playing, toys and treats, and people and dogs. He’ll be your best friend and loyal companion, asking only that you be his. Legend weighs 15 pounds and will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of his adoption. So, what are you waiting for? Legends don’t come along everyday!
