My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jimmy is the sweetest boy. Wants to be your best friend, walking partner, TV buddy, & bed pillow. He is housetrained, potty trained, and learning leash training. He weighs in at only about 35-36 pounds.

This handsome 2 year old just wants someone to love.

If you feel your home might be the right place for this very good boy, start with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more and arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for our dogs is $250.00, to include vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Jimmy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
